Systems Implementation Program

The Systems Implementation Program follows a proprietary software system implementation process focused on User and other system integration requirements, use cases, process flow, process change documentation, total cost of ownership (TCO), risk mitigation, User acceptance testing (UAT) and knowledge transfer/training. Systems Implementation should be planned during the software product selection phase (see Build Versus Buy Analysis).

In addition to improving efficiencies and effectiveness, a proper implementation of a new software solution should include some combination of current business practices with industry best practices that new software solutions should bring to the process. Metrics to measure success should be developed early in the Implementation Phase

It is important to prepare realistic timelines. And, generally, the preferred approach is a modular or phased implementation. While each step in the implementation process is important, identifying a super user or software administrator is critical. And Executive support is vital for success!
